Kelab Roadrunners Ipoh (KRI) is, we believe, the foremost running club in Ipoh. It is a claim we stake based on 20 years of history and passion for running in the community of Ipoh. KRI is a non-profit making organisation that was formed way back in 1987 by a group of keen runners who believed in running as a means of keeping fit as well as an avenue to build friendship and enjoy the benefits of training and racing together.

Today, the Club has more than 300 members, men and women of all ages, races and backgrounds who come together to run, train and enjoy the outdoors. KRI organises races throughout the year, the most notable being the 10K run, the 10 Mile race and the monthly 1.5 Mile Fitness run sponsored by Brooks (USA).

The Club also helps organise group participation in major national events such as the Ipoh Half Marathon, the Penang bridge Run etc as well as further afield in Singapore and in the Haadyai Nature Run. Discount on accommodation, where possible, and hotel bookings, are arranged.

Members are entitled to a host of privileges including special discounts on Brooks products, and other well known sporting brands like Nike, Adidas etc at the Noric Sports Shop at Ipoh Parade, Nike Shop at Jaya Jusco and Focus Ace at Jalan Theatre.
